What Bitrix24 analytics really means
Bitrix24 stores the conversation history and the deal stages. It has no idea where a person came from before the form: Instagram, search, a Telegram channel or an OLX listing. The website has to hand that over. Without it you get a neat funnel in the reports and no answer to the one question that matters, which channel pays back.
The set of reports and the end-to-end analytics options depend on your plan. Check what your plan includes before you build processes around specific tools.
Agree on the funnel first
Analytics starts with a shared definition, not with settings. What counts as a lead, what is a qualified lead, what is a sale? If managers move deals between stages however they see fit, your conversion numbers will be noise.
Describe each stage in plain words and set a rule for what must happen before a deal moves on. Make the loss reason mandatory. After a month, those reasons show where you lose customers: price, timing, unanswered calls or irrelevant requests.
What the website must pass to the CRM
This is where tracking breaks most often. The form sends a name and a phone number, and everything else is lost. For reports to mean anything, extra data has to travel with each lead into the deal card.
- UTM tags: the source, channel, campaign and ad that brought the visitor.
- The page where the lead was left and the form type: callback, price calculator, quiz.
- Messenger leads: a click to a Telegram bot or a chat button should be recorded as an enquiry too.
- Phone calls from the site: the number used in ads must map clearly to a source.
- Payment data: if customers pay through Click or Payme, return the fact of payment to the deal.
Which reports to review every week
You do not need ten dashboards. A small set that answers practical questions is enough for an owner of a small or mid-sized business.
- Leads by source and the share that reached a sale.
- Manager first-response time: it often decides the outcome more than the ad does.
- Stages where deals stall or close as lost.
- Cost per lead and cost per sale by channel, matching spend from Meta and Google ad accounts with closed deals.
- Manager workload and how repeat enquiries are handled.
Common setup mistakes that skew the data
The first mistake is judging a channel by lead count. A channel can bring plenty of enquiries from people who want free advice and almost no payments. The second is duplicates: one customer wrote in Telegram, called and filled in a form, and the CRM now holds three cards. The third is letting managers type the source by hand. A week later half the deals say Instagram.
Another frequent problem is a redesign that quietly breaks tracking. A new form or page template, and UTM tags stop being saved. After any change to the site, send a test lead and check that the Bitrix24 card is filled in completely.
Why this is a website development question
Correct data transfer is planned when the site is designed: hidden form fields, one consistent way of recording sources, events for messenger buttons, stable behaviour on mobile. Fixing this later costs more than building it in. That is especially true in Uzbekistan, where many enquiries arrive by phone and Telegram rather than through a classic form.
If you are building a site from scratch, put the CRM integration and the list of fields to be passed into the brief as a separate item.
Where to start
A minimal plan: describe the funnel, list the data a deal card should receive, set up the transfer from the site, verify it with test leads, and only then build reports. The markdev team builds turnkey websites and connects them to the CRM so the source of every lead is visible on the card. FAQ
Do I need separate end-to-end analytics if I already use Bitrix24?
At minimum you must pass the lead source into the CRM and return sales data. What is built in depends on your plan, so check it first and add external services where needed.
Why do many Bitrix24 leads have no source?
Usually the website does not store UTM tags or the form does not send them to the card. Phone and messenger enquiries that are not linked to ads are another cause.
How do I know if my advertising pays off?
Compare channel spend from the ad account with paid deals in the CRM. Cost per lead alone is not enough. What matters is the cost of a customer who paid.
Should managers enter the lead source or the system?
The system, wherever possible. Manual entry creates errors and gaps, so leave managers only what cannot be detected automatically.
