How a corporate site differs from an online store
A store has thousands of product pages. A corporate site has a few dozen pages at most, and every one of them has to earn its place. A B2B buyer rarely decides on the first visit. They compare suppliers, look at past work, forward the link to a colleague, then call or message on Telegram. So SEO here is not about traffic in general. It is about attracting the right visitors, meaning people looking for a specific service or supplier.
There is a second pattern. For many owners the website is secondary: it exists as a business card, while Instagram and personal contacts do the selling. That is fine, but it gives search a different job. It brings in people who are not in your social circles: procurement managers, directors and customers from other cities who simply type a query into Google or Yandex.
Corporate website SEO in Uzbekistan: start with goals
Before changing anything, agree on what counts as a result. For a corporate site that is usually a submitted form, a phone call, a tap on a Telegram button or a quote request. Rankings are an intermediate signal, not the goal. A site can sit high in results and still bring no enquiries.
Basic analytics should be in place before the work starts, not after:
- Yandex Metrica and Google Analytics with goals for forms, calls and messenger clicks
- Google Search Console and Yandex Webmaster to monitor indexing and queries
- A separate phone number for the site, so you can see which calls it generates
- A record of the source of every lead in a CRM or even a simple spreadsheet
The technical foundation
If the foundation is weak, content and links work at half strength. A technical audit usually begins with a short checklist, and many items cost little when the site was built carefully.
- Fast loading on mobile, since many visitors browse on phones and a slow page loses them before the first screen
- Responsive layout with buttons that are easy to tap
- HTTPS, one canonical address and correct redirects
- A sitemap and a robots.txt file with no accidental blocks
- A unique title and description on every page
- No duplicate pages or broken links
- Structured data for the company name, address and contacts
Page structure and search queries
The core of the structure is a separate page for each service or direction, not one Services page with a comma-separated list. A query like “air conditioner installation in Tashkent” and one like “air conditioner repair” express different intent, and search engines expect different pages to answer them. Group queries by intent, then write a page for each group that answers the real questions: what the service includes, who it is for, how the work goes, what shapes the price and how to get in touch.
Think about languages separately. Part of your audience searches in Russian, part in Uzbek, and the wording differs noticeably. If you serve both, you need proper language versions rather than machine translation. The same goes for regions. A page for Samarkand or Fergana should contain real details about delivery, a branch or on-site visits, not a copy of the Tashkent page with the city name swapped.
Content and trust
Corporate buyers decide cautiously, so your pages should remove doubt. Show who is behind the company, what you do in practice and what you have already delivered. Real projects, reviews with names, legal details, an address on the map and clear terms help both conversion and how search engines judge the site.
A blog makes sense when it answers questions your managers hear every week: how to choose, how options differ, what to check in a contract. Links are best earned naturally, through industry directories, partners and mentions in trade media. Buying them in bulk is a risk with no guaranteed benefit.
Choosing a contractor and judging results
SEO is not an instant channel, and an honest contractor will not quote exact timelines before studying your site and niche. They explain the plan in stages, give you access to analytics and report on leads, not only on positions. Be wary if you hear any of these:
- a guarantee of first place in search
- a report made up only of rankings and traffic
- a refusal to share access to counters and Search Console
- bulk link buying with no explanation
- no questions about your margins and customers
Combine SEO with other channels
Paid search and social ads bring leads quickly while SEO builds up over time. Data from ad queries shows which phrases attract customers, and you can carry them into the site structure. If your site is outdated or built on a template builder, some problems can only be solved by rebuilding it, and then it makes sense to discuss turnkey website development with search requirements in mind from the start.

FAQ
How long does SEO take to work for a corporate website?
There is no honest fixed answer. It depends on the age of the site, competition in your niche and its technical state. The effect usually builds gradually, so set up analytics first and watch the trend in enquiries.
What matters more, rankings or leads?
Leads. Rankings show visibility, but a business needs enquiries and sales. A good report links queries, visits and enquiries.
Do I need a separate Uzbek version of the site?
If part of your customers search in Uzbek, yes. A full version with its own headings and copy works better than automatic translation.
Can a site built on a website builder be promoted?
Basics such as headings, structure and content can be improved there. But if the builder limits speed, markup or URL structure, you may need to consider a rebuild.
