What account management really means
Many business owners in Tashkent and the regions think of Instagram as a place to upload nice visuals. In practice it is a managed process: someone decides what to say to your audience, prepares the material, publishes it on schedule, talks to people and then checks what worked.
The key difference from one-off posts is ownership of the whole cycle. If customer-review stories bring more Direct messages than a discount banner, next month's plan should reflect that. Without this review loop, the account simply exists in the feed and does little to help you sell.
What the service should include
The scope varies by provider, so agree on it in writing before you pay. A solid package usually covers these blocks:
- a review of your product, audience and competitors
- profile setup: bio, link, pinned stories, highlights
- a monthly content plan that accounts for promotions and seasons
- shooting and editing: photos, Reels, stories
- scheduled publishing on Instagram and, if needed, a Telegram channel
- replies to comments and messages
- a monthly report with conclusions, not just charts
A content plan that can bend
A good plan is built around your product and your business calendar: new items, holidays, seasonal demand, sales. Instagram and Telegram audiences in Uzbekistan read differently, so the same material should not be copied to both without changes.
Leave room for sudden news. If a shop receives a new batch or a clinic suddenly has free slots, a rigid schedule breaks within a couple of weeks. It is better to reserve open slots from the start.
Direct messages and comments are part of sales
Customers in Uzbekistan often send voice messages and mix Uzbek with Russian. If the answer arrives a day later, the buyer has probably asked a competitor already. That is why it helps to prepare reply scripts for frequent questions: price, address, delivery, payment by Click or Payme, availability.
Hot leads should reach your sales manager quickly. Comments need attention too: a question or complaint under a post is visible to everyone, and silence looks worse than a calm, factual reply.
What shapes the price
There is no single price list that fits everyone, and that is normal. The cost depends on the amount of shooting, the number of platforms, content languages (Uzbek, Russian or both), the number of branches, editing complexity and how fast messages must be handled. The first month is usually heavier because the team has to learn your product and build a strategy.
Ad budget is a separate line. You can run an account organically and add targeted ads later if reach is not enough. Just make sure you can see the ad account and the money spent in it.
Mistakes to avoid when choosing a provider
The first mistake is comparing offers by the number of posts. Twenty identical stories are weaker than five well-thought-out publications that answer real customer questions. Ask to see the logic, not only the count.
The second is skipping the question of access. The account, the business manager and the source files should belong to you, so changing teams does not mean starting from zero.
The third is judging success by follower count. For a business, other signals matter more: how many people wrote in Direct, tapped the call button, moved to a Telegram bot or visited your location. Agree on metrics in advance and make sure basic analytics are in place, otherwise you cannot tell whether the work pays off.
In-house specialist or outside team
An in-house SMM person makes sense when you have plenty of content and someone to guide it. Still, one person rarely shoots, edits, writes copy and handles messages at the same time. An agency covers all these roles, and a mixed model also works: your employee handles replies while strategy and production are done externally.

FAQ
How is account management different from freelance posting?
Management is a repeating cycle of planning, shooting, publishing, handling messages and reviewing stats. One-off posts only keep you visible and do not build a system that brings in inquiries.
Do I need paid ads together with account management?
Not necessarily. An account can be run organically. Ads are added when natural reach is not enough for the flow of inquiries you need, and their budget is best tracked separately.
Which access rights should stay with my business?
The account itself, the linked business manager, the ad account and the source photo and video files. That way you are not tied to one provider and can switch teams without losses.
Which metrics should I use to judge results?
Look at Direct messages, taps on contact buttons, clicks to Telegram, leads and visits. Follower count alone says little about sales.
