Why landing page design cost has no single answer
A landing page is a sales tool, not a picture. One layout may be a simple page for an Instagram ad, while another is a full funnel with a price calculator, payment through Click or Payme, and leads routed into Telegram. The price follows the job the page has to do, not the number of blocks on it.
So when a contractor names a figure after hearing only the word landing, they are either pricing from a template or absorbing risk they will recover later. Either way, it is worth asking what exactly is included.
What goes into a landing page quote
To compare offers fairly, break the price into parts. A cheaper quote often leaves some of these out, and they come back later as separate invoices.
- Research: your audience, competitors and offer. Without it, design is guesswork.
- Structure and prototype: block order, screen logic, where the calls to action sit.
- Copy and offer: who writes headlines and descriptions, you or the contractor.
- Visual design for desktop and phone. In Uzbekistan most visitors arrive on mobile, so it is not an afterthought.
- Visuals: photos, illustrations, video and animation, either yours or produced and licensed for the project.
- Development and integrations: forms, CRM, a Telegram bot, payment systems, the Meta pixel and analytics counters.
- Revisions and support: how many rounds are included and what happens when you need to update the page later.
What pushes the price up the most
The main drivers are the amount of original work and the number of approval rounds. Custom graphics, complex animation, several language versions (Russian and Uzbek are almost always needed together) and links to accounting or CRM systems all add specialist hours.
The state of your raw material matters too. If you have no brand style, logo or good photos of your product or service, part of the budget goes into creating them. That is not padding: a page with weak photos converts poorly whatever the design.
Freelancer, studio or agency
Tashkent has all three, and the difference is not only price. A freelancer is usually cheaper and quicker to start, but you depend on one person. A small studio gives you a designer and a developer working together. A full-service agency can also handle ads, analytics and later optimisation.
Choose by the task. For a one-off business card page, a simple solution is enough. If the page will receive traffic from Meta Ads and Google Ads, it matters more that the team understands advertising and can show how the page affects cost per lead.
How to avoid overpaying for a pretty picture
Agree on a metric before work starts: cost per lead, the share of visitors who leave contact details, or the number of Telegram enquiries. Without a goal you cannot tell whether the design paid off. Connect analytics at launch too, otherwise you cannot separate a weak offer from weak advertising.
Ask for a staged estimate instead of one lump sum, and put the number of revision rounds and rights to source files in the contract. Compare scope, not totals: two quotes with different prices often describe different products.
Do not cut corners on copy and offer. Good design cannot rescue a page where it is unclear what you sell and why someone should write to you.
How we approach landing pages
At markdev we build websites and landing pages end to end, from structure and design to integrations and analytics, and we show what each line of the estimate covers. If you want to know what scope your business needs and what it involves, describe the task and we will talk it through and suggest a realistic version without unnecessary blocks.
FAQ
Why do landing page prices differ so much?
Because the same name hides different scopes: with or without research and copy, custom or template graphics, simple form or full integrations. Compare what is included, not just the total.
Is development included in the design price?
Not always. Some providers sell only the design file and charge separately for building the page and connecting forms, Telegram or payment systems. Clarify this before signing.
Do I need a separate mobile version?
Yes, plan the mobile layout from the start. A large share of visitors from Instagram and Telegram open pages on their phones, so many teams design the mobile view first.
How do I know the landing page paid off?
Pick a metric before launch, such as cost per lead or number of enquiries, and set up analytics. Then you can compare development and ad spend with real leads and sales.
