When one page is enough
A one-page site works well when your offer can be explained in a single scroll: booking a service, selling one product, enrolling students in a course, presenting a new collection, running a seasonal promotion. The visitor arrives from an Instagram or Google ad, reads, and leaves a request without wandering through menus.
If you have hundreds of products, a complex catalogue, a customer account area, or many unrelated services for different audiences, one page will not carry it. In that case build the landing page as a dedicated destination for a specific ad campaign rather than as a replacement for the whole website.
Page structure: the blocks you need
The order of blocks should follow the questions a person asks while reading. First they want to understand what is on offer, then why they should trust you, and only after that are they ready to share contact details.
- First screen: what you offer, who it is for, and a clear action button.
- Benefits and differences, written in the customer's language.
- How the work goes: short steps from request to result.
- Proof: real projects, reviews, documents, photos of the team.
- Prices, or an explanation of what the price depends on.
- Answers to common objections.
- A request form plus backup contact options.
What is specific about Uzbek audiences
Most traffic comes from phones, often on mobile internet of varying quality, so heavy animations and oversized images directly reduce the number of requests. Test the page on inexpensive smartphones, not only on your own.
Think about languages too. Many customers read both Russian and Uzbek, and a missing version cuts off part of your audience. Telegram is a habitual channel for many people, so buttons that open a chat or a bot next to the form are useful. If you take prepayment, plan in advance for Click or Payme and write clear refund terms.
Set up analytics before launch
A common mistake is to publish the page and only then ask how many leads it produced. Decide on the target action in advance: a form submission, a tap on the phone number, a move to Telegram, a payment. Each one should be set up as an event in your analytics and checked to confirm data is arriving.
Then you can compare traffic sources, work out the cost of a lead, and see which block makes people leave. Without this, every edit becomes an argument about taste.
What drives the cost of a landing page
The price depends not on the words "one page" but on the scope of work: whether copy and structure are ready or must be prepared, whether you have a brand style, how many language versions you need, whether custom graphics or a photo shoot are required, and which integrations are involved, such as forms, a CRM, Telegram notifications or online payment.
Domain, hosting, support and later work on traffic are counted separately. Ask any contractor to list what is included in the quote and what is billed on top. It protects both sides.
Keeping results after launch
A landing page is rarely perfect in its first version. Leave time to test ideas: a different headline, another block order, a shorter form. Change one element at a time and watch the data.
Remember also that the page itself does not bring traffic. It needs ads, search optimisation, or an active Instagram account that sends people to it. When comparing contractors, favour the one who talks about leads and metrics, not only design.
At markdev we build websites end to end, including one-page sites, and connect analytics before launch. If you would like to discuss whether you need a landing page or a full website, send us a request and we will look at your situation together.
FAQ
How is a one-page site different from a multi-page site?
It is built around a single offer and a single action, which makes it simpler for the visitor and faster to launch. A multi-page site is better when you have many products, services or sections.
Is a landing page good for SEO?
It can rank for a narrow query, but it has less room to cover different searches. Broad search promotion usually needs a site with several pages.
Can I accept payments on a one-page site?
Yes. Click, Payme or other methods can be connected when needed. It is important to state payment and refund terms clearly on the page.
What should I prepare before work starts?
A description of your offer, examples of work or photos, contact details, the languages you need, and a clear idea of the action a visitor should take. The rest can be clarified with the contractor.
