Why a new site does not show up in search right away
A fresh domain has no history: no links, no behavioral data, no reviews. The site can be fully indexed and still sit far from the first page. That is a normal stage, not a contractor's mistake.
In Tashkent this is especially visible in niches such as dentistry, renovation, delivery or education, where competitors have collected mentions and reviews for years. Going head-on after the most popular queries makes little sense. It is smarter to target narrower queries and win customers from other channels in the meantime.
Promoting a new website: start with the technical basics
Before thinking about content, make sure a search robot can actually read the site. After launch, this is where annoying mistakes are most often found, for example a site that is still blocked from indexing since the testing stage.
- Connect Google Search Console and Yandex Webmaster, then submit your sitemap.xml.
- Check robots.txt and meta tags so the site is not blocked from indexing.
- Keep one main address: https, with or without www, and redirect the other variants.
- Test speed on a phone and on a weak mobile connection, which is common outside the capital.
- If you have Russian and Uzbek versions, link them with hreflang.
- Give every page a unique title, description and headings.
Structure: one page for each type of demand
A single landing page for all services gives you little chance in search. Someone types “air conditioner installation Tashkent” or “tort buyurtma”, and the search engine needs a page about exactly that. So every service, category or product should have its own page with a clear name.
Collect queries in Russian and Uzbek, in both Cyrillic and Latin script, because people type in different ways. On the page, show what helps a visitor decide: the price in soums or how it is calculated, the address, payment through Click and Payme, and a Telegram link for a quick question.
Content and trust
Articles are not about volume. Look at what customers really ask in Instagram Direct and Telegram, and answer those questions in depth. Such pages cover queries that bigger competitors often ignore.
Trust is also built off your site. Create listings on Google Maps, Yandex Maps and 2GIS, and ask happy customers for reviews. Link to the site from Instagram, your Telegram channel and your OLX or Uzum profiles where the platform allows it. Buying links in bulk for a young domain usually hurts more than it helps.
Where traffic comes from while SEO builds up
Organic growth takes time, but a business needs leads now. Paid traffic closes the gap: Meta Ads or Google Ads sent to specific landing pages. It also gives you quick data on which offers and headlines bring enquiries and which queries actually end in a purchase.
Those findings then feed into your SEO copy and structure. A Telegram bot or a mailing list helps bring back people who already visited, so a first visit is not the last.
Analytics: what to measure
Without analytics you cannot tell whether promotion works or the budget is simply being spent. Install Yandex Metrica and Google Analytics and set up goals: form submission, phone call, Telegram click, payment.
Search positions are only an intermediate indicator. Track how many enquiries each channel brings and how many turn into sales. Agree in advance with your contractor which numbers you will judge the work by, and ask for reports in exactly that form.
Where to start this week
Check indexing and the robots file, set up counters and goals, then draft a list of pages built around real queries. If the site is still being built, it is easier to plan the SEO structure from day one than to rework a finished site.

FAQ
How long does it take to see results from promoting a new website?
There is no exact timeline: it depends on your niche, competition and site quality. It is more realistic to think in stages: indexing first, then growth on narrow queries, then on more competitive ones. In the meantime you can get enquiries from ads and social media.
Should I buy links for a new website?
Usually not. Bulk paid links on a young domain are risky. Natural mentions are safer: map listings, reviews, social profiles and partner publications.
What matters more for a new site: SEO or advertising?
They complement each other. Ads bring quick enquiries and data, while SEO gradually reduces your dependence on paid traffic. The balance depends on your budget and how soon you need customers.
Do I need a separate Uzbek version of the site?
If your customers search in both languages, yes. Separate Russian and Uzbek pages widen your reach, but they must be linked correctly, and neither version should be left empty.
