What you are really buying
Search optimisation is a process, not a one-off setup. You pay to make your site clearer to Google and Yandex and more useful to people searching for what you sell: a dentist in Chilanzar, flower delivery in Tashkent, appliance repair in Samarkand.
Before talking price, answer one question: what do you need traffic for? One business wants phone calls and Telegram messages, another wants online-shop orders paid through Click or Payme, a third wants name recognition in its region. The goal shapes everything, from the keywords to the page structure to the format of reporting.
Rankings for a list of keywords are only an intermediate signal. You can sit in first place for a phrase nobody turns into a customer and still earn nothing.
What the work consists of
A responsible specialist audits first and proposes a plan second. Typically the scope covers these areas:
- technical audit: loading speed, mobile experience, indexing errors, duplicate pages, clean URLs;
- keyword research: real queries in both Russian and Uzbek, grouped by what the searcher wants;
- site structure: a dedicated page for each group of queries rather than one page about everything;
- content: service descriptions, product cards, articles and answers to common questions;
- local SEO: a Google Maps listing with a consistent address, phone number, opening hours and reviews;
- links and mentions: reputable sites rather than bought link farms;
- reporting and adjustments at the end of each period.
What drives the price
There is no honest price list that fits everyone, and that is fine. The cost depends on the size of the site, competition in your niche, the condition the site starts in and how much content has to be written. An online shop with thousands of product pages and a local clinic website are very different jobs.
Also consider who does the work: a single specialist, a small team, or an agency with separate roles for analyst, technical SEO and copywriter. The wider the scope, the more it matters that every stage has someone accountable.
Be wary of a quote that arrives without a single question about your site or business. It means the provider priced a template, not you.
How to choose a provider in Tashkent
The market is uneven: freelancers, studios and full-service agencies all offer SEO. The difference is rarely the price and more often how they report and what they will answer for. Ask direct questions:
- which metrics will you track besides rankings;
- what exactly will you do in the first month, and why in that order;
- who writes the copy, and do they understand the Uzbek and Russian-speaking audience;
- will I get access to analytics and Search Console under my own account;
- what happens to the site if we stop working together;
- what will you refuse to do, for example buying links in bulk.
Set up analytics before you start
The most common mistake is starting promotion without counters or goals. Without Google Analytics, Search Console and a record of enquiries, you cannot tell whether the work pays off or the budget is simply disappearing. Calls, form submissions, clicks to Telegram and orders should be tracked from day one.
If you also run paid ads, look at the channels together. Over a long period SEO often brings cheaper enquiries, but it does not replace Meta or Google ads when you need a fast stream of leads.
When to expect results
SEO moves more slowly than advertising. Pages need time to be indexed, gain visibility and settle. The timeline depends on the age of the site, the competition and how much has to be changed, and anyone who names an exact date for reaching the top is promising something they do not control.
Agree on interim milestones instead: fixed technical errors, new pages published, growth in impressions and clicks in Search Console, the first enquiries from search. That way you see progress well before the main flow of leads arrives.

FAQ
Can I order SEO optimisation if I do not have a website yet?
You can, but it works better when SEO is planned during development. Structure, URLs and speed are easier to get right from the start than to rebuild later.
Do I have to pay for SEO every month?
Usually yes, because the work is continuous: content, fixes, responding to competitors and to search engine changes. The contract format is agreed case by case, as long as the list of tasks is transparent.
How is SEO different from Google Ads or Meta targeting?
Ads bring traffic only while you pay for clicks. SEO builds organic visibility that accumulates more slowly but does not vanish the moment the work pauses.
What reports should I ask an SEO provider for?
A good report shows the work completed, the trend in impressions, clicks and goal-based enquiries from search, not only rankings for a handful of keywords.
