Google Ads cost in Uzbekistan: the three layers
Google Ads is an auction. You do not buy a package of impressions at a set rate; you set a budget and a bid, and Google decides when your ad appears and what each click costs. Two businesses in Tashkent can run similar ads and pay very different amounts, because their competitors, landing pages and goals differ. So when someone quotes a number without looking at your market and your site, treat it as a guess or a template.
It helps to split the total into three parts and ask about each one separately:
- ad spend: what Google charges for clicks and views;
- management: setup, ongoing optimization and reporting by a freelancer, small team or agency;
- infrastructure: the website or landing page, analytics, call tracking, CRM and creative assets.
What drives the price of a click
The biggest factor is competition for the search term. If many clinics, schools or furniture shops in Tashkent bid on the same phrase, each click gets more expensive. Smaller cities and narrow niches are often cheaper per click, though fewer people search for those services.
Quality matters too. Google looks at how well your ad, keywords and landing page match what the person searched for. A slow page or a vague ad means you pay more for the same visitor. Location, time of day, device and campaign type (Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max) all change the picture.
A click is not a lead. Cheap visits from the wrong audience can cost you more per real customer than expensive clicks from people ready to buy.
How agencies and freelancers charge
Management fees usually follow one of three models: a flat monthly fee, a percentage of ad spend, or a mix. A percentage can quietly reward spending more rather than lowering your cost per lead. A flat fee with no agreed targets rewards nothing in particular. Whatever you choose, tie it to reporting you can read.
Ask what is included: one-time setup or ongoing work, reports, calls, help with the website. Also ask who handles the account when the specialist is away.
One rule is non-negotiable: the ad account should be registered to your business. If the contractor runs everything inside their own account, you lose your campaign history the day you switch.
Costs people forget to budget for
Many owners fund the clicks and nothing else, then conclude that ads do not work. Often the problem sits after the click.
- fixing or building a landing page that works well on a phone;
- conversion tracking with Google Tag Manager and Analytics, including calls and Telegram clicks;
- call tracking, so you know which phone calls came from ads;
- a CRM or at least a simple sheet that records leads and sales;
- ad copy, banners and video;
- staff time: a lead answered a day late has already been paid for and wasted.
How to estimate your own budget
Work backwards from the sale. Take your average order value, your margin and the share of enquiries that become customers, and decide what you can afford to pay for one lead. An online shop selling through Uzum or Telegram knows what one order earns; a dental clinic knows what a patient is worth over a course of treatment.
Multiply that acceptable cost per lead by the number of enquiries you need to hit your sales plan. The result is a rough monthly ad budget in soums. Treat the first month as a learning period, since part of the money goes to finding which searches actually convert.
Keep goals separate. Brand awareness and lead generation need different campaigns and different expectations.
Simple ways to avoid wasted spend
Even a modest budget can be protected with a few basics:
- negative keywords such as “free”, “DIY” and “jobs”;
- tight location targeting by city, district or radius around your office;
- ad schedules that match the hours when someone answers the phone;
- a regular review of search terms, pausing those that spend without producing leads.

FAQ
How much does Google Ads cost in Uzbekistan?
There is no fixed price. Clicks are bought in an auction, so cost depends on your niche, competition, website quality and settings. Management and website preparation are paid separately.
Is there a minimum budget?
Google does not demand a large sum, but the budget must buy enough clicks to learn from. If it covers only a handful of visits a day, there will be too little data to optimize.
Should I pay a specialist a percentage or a flat fee?
It depends on the goal. A percentage suits growing spend but does not push the cost per lead down. A flat fee works best with agreed targets and clear reports.
How do I know if my ads pay off?
You need tracking for calls, forms and Telegram clicks, plus a record of actual sales. Then you can compare cost per lead with the profit a customer brings.
