What SEO copywriting means today
Not long ago, an SEO text meant a long block where the target phrase was repeated in almost every sentence. Search engines now judge whether a page actually helped the reader, so that approach hurts more than it helps. The visitor leaves, and the enquiry you wanted leaves with them.
Good SEO copywriting is simply useful writing with a clear topic, a logical structure and the phrases people really search for placed with care. It applies equally to a service page, a product card and a blog article.
Start with search intent, not keywords
People search for the same product in different ways. A query like “how to choose a mattress” signals someone who is still comparing: they need criteria, firmness, sizes and the mistakes buyers make. “Buy a mattress in Tashkent” is a different request: they want the range, delivery terms, payment by Click or Payme, and contacts.
If you put long theory on a commercial page, or a price list on an informational one, search engines notice through user behaviour. Before writing, open the results for your query and see what kinds of pages rank: services, articles, catalogues, comparisons. That tells you which format the audience expects.
A structure that is easy to read
Put the answer to the main question at the top, not on the third screen. Add detail below for readers who want to go deeper.
Most customers read on a phone, often arriving from Instagram or Telegram. On a small screen a long paragraph becomes a wall of text, so split it without hesitation.
- One H1 that states the main topic plainly
- H2 subheadings that show the logic even to someone skimming
- Short paragraphs with one idea each
- Lists for steps, tables for comparing plans or specifications
- A clear next step: a button, a form, a Telegram bot or a phone number
Keywords: where to place them and when to stop
Use the main phrase in the title, the first paragraph and one subheading. That is enough. Elsewhere rely on synonyms, clarifying words, district names and related terms, which makes the copy sound natural and covers more ways of asking.
The test is simple: if a sentence sounds odd because of the keyword, rewrite it. Constructions like “buy cheap Tashkent” persuade neither a person nor a search engine. “Delivery across Tashkent and the regions” is more natural and more precise.
Language matters too. People in Uzbekistan search in Russian and in Uzbek. If your site is bilingual, write full versions for each language rather than a literal translation, because queries are phrased differently.
Facts and examples instead of general claims
“We offer high-quality services” tells the reader nothing. They need specifics: what the work involves, which stages it has, what the price includes, what affects the timeline and what the limits are. If you cannot state a figure honestly, explain what it depends on.
Real details from your business work well: photos from a job, a description of the process, answers to questions customers ask in Instagram direct or by phone. That shows the page was written by someone who knows the subject. Do not copy text from other sites or paste supplier descriptions unchanged. Identical pages get lost in search results, and a shopper who has already seen the same description on Uzum or OLX has no reason to pick you.
How long should the text be
There is no correct character count. Some questions need two paragraphs, others need a detailed walkthrough. Aim for a complete answer and look at how the pages already ranking cover the topic. Adding paragraphs just to reach a length does not help.
Check the copy before you publish
Read it aloud. If you stumble, there is probably a forced keyword or a heavy sentence. Then read it as the customer would: did they get an answer, and do they know what to do next? If so, the text works for people and for search.

FAQ
How many keywords should an SEO text contain?
There is no fixed number. Put the main phrase in the title, the first paragraph and one subheading, then use synonyms and related terms. If it reads naturally aloud, you have enough.
How long should SEO copy be?
As long as it takes to answer the query fully. Look at how ranking pages cover the topic and avoid padding.
Can I write SEO copy with an AI tool?
You can use it for a first draft, but unedited output tends to be generic. Check the facts, add real details from your business and adapt the tone to your audience.
Should I rewrite the old texts on my website?
Yes, if they are stuffed with repetition, copied from other sites or do not answer the customer's question. Start with the pages that should bring in enquiries.
