What Tilda handles and what it leaves to you
The builder covers part of the technical groundwork: layouts adapt to phones, a sitemap is generated when you publish, and an SSL certificate can be switched on in site settings. That saves a lot of time compared with a custom build.
Search engines still need to understand what each page is about and why it deserves to rank above competitors. Copy, page structure, section names and answers to real customer questions stay with you. A one-screen landing page with a nice photo and three words gives a crawler almost nothing to read.
Tilda SEO optimization: page-level settings
Most of the work happens in each page's SEO settings and inside the blocks themselves. Go through this checklist:
- Title and description: unique for every page, with the main query and the city, for example “stretch ceilings in Tashkent”.
- Page URL: short, in Latin letters and readable (/stretch-ceilings), not the string of digits the builder assigns by default.
- One H1 per page. In a Zero Block you choose the text tag manually; otherwise the heading is just large type, not a heading to a search engine.
- Alt text on images and meaningful file names instead of “IMG_2041”.
- The image and text shown when your link is shared in Telegram or Instagram.
- Keeping service pages out of the index: test pages and the “thank you” page after a form is sent.
Content for Tashkent and regional searches
The core rule is one search intent per page. If a dental clinic puts everything on a single long page, it will be weak for implants, braces and children's treatment alike. A separate page for each service gives search engines a clear signal.
Add what real people look for: the district or a landmark, opening hours, Click and Payme payment options, a Telegram link and a short Q&A block. For regional queries such as “flower delivery Samarkand”, the city name belongs in the heading and body text, not just the footer.
Speed and the mobile experience
Many visitors arrive on a phone from an Instagram or Telegram link, sometimes on an unstable connection. Heavy photos, dozens of Zero Blocks on one page, background video and third-party widgets all slow loading down.
Compress images before uploading, skip animation you do not need and test the page in PageSpeed Insights. Then open the site on your own phone and walk the customer's path from the first screen to the request button.
Russian and Uzbek versions without losing traffic
Uzbek search queries are not translations of Russian ones; they are phrased differently. It works better to build separate pages for each language, each with its own title, description and URL, and to put a language switcher in the header.
The link between language versions can be declared with code added to the head section in site settings. If you are unsure, start with your audience's main language and add the second once the first is working steadily.
Tracking whether it works
Connect Google Search Console and Yandex Webmaster, submit the sitemap and install Metrica or GA4. Set up goals: a form submission, a Telegram button click, a phone call, a payment. Without goals you will see visitors but not leads.
Watch which queries show your site, which pages get clicks and where people drop off. After a few weeks that is usually enough to decide what to rewrite and what to keep.
When Tilda is enough and when you need custom development
For a services site, a landing page, a small catalogue or a business card site, Tilda is usually enough. If you need a large catalogue with filters, a customer account area, a complex integration with your accounting system or non-standard logic, plan for custom development.
If you want to know whether a builder suits your business, the markdev team can review your current site or brief and tell you what to configure in Tilda and what is better done differently. Describe your task and we will talk it through with no obligation.
FAQ
Can a Tilda website rank in search at all?
Yes. Tilda has fields for titles, descriptions, page URLs and headings, and it generates a sitemap automatically. Results depend on content, structure and how well you target real queries.
What should I set up first?
Unique titles and descriptions for each page, readable URLs, one H1 and separate pages for separate services. Then connect Search Console and Webmaster.
Do I need the site in two languages?
If customers search for you in both Russian and Uzbek, yes. Build separate pages with their own headings and descriptions rather than relying on automatic translation.
How soon will I see results?
It depends on competition, the age of the site and the quality of the pages, so no one can promise an exact timeline. First impression data usually appears in Search Console within a few weeks.
