Why a website has no single price
The word "website" covers very different products. One business owner in Tashkent needs a single page with a form for an Instagram ad launch. Another needs an online store with Click and Payme checkout, delivery options and order export to an accounting system. Comparing those prices is like comparing a bicycle with a truck.
So an honest answer starts with scope: which pages, which features, which languages, which connections to other systems. Any number given before that is a marketing figure, not a calculation.
What a website quote consists of
Most projects include four stages, and it helps when each one appears as a separate line in the quote. Content is a fifth line.
- Planning: page structure, navigation logic, form fields, user scenarios.
- Design: layouts for desktop and mobile.
- Development: front-end build, admin panel, catalogue, forms, integrations.
- Launch: domain, hosting, analytics, testing on different devices, final fixes.
- Content: copy, photos, descriptions of services and products.
How the type of site changes the total
A one-page site for a single service is the simplest case: one layout, one form, very little logic. A landing page covering several services is harder, with more screens, different offers and sometimes a separate page for each ad campaign.
A corporate site adds sections, a blog, a team page and an admin panel so a manager can edit content without a developer. An online store is usually the most expensive: product cards, filters, cart, online payment, order statuses, warehouse links. If you already sell on Uzum or OLX, syncing stock levels may be needed too.
What raises the cost the most
First, the number of unique page templates. Many pages built on one template cost less than a few pages that each need their own layout.
Second, two languages. Russian and Uzbek versions are not a switch in the corner; they are a second set of copy, buttons, error messages and SEO settings. Third, integrations: a CRM, payment systems, delivery services, a Telegram bot for notifications. Each needs development and testing on both sides.
Fourth, custom design versus adapting a ready-made solution. Custom work takes longer but gives you a site that does not look like ten others.
Sums, dollars and payment terms
In Tashkent, quotes are often discussed in dollars while payment is made in sums at the exchange rate on the day of payment. That is common practice, but write the conversion rule into the contract, or you will argue about the rate halfway through the project.
Splitting payment into stages is sensible: start, design approval, launch. Both sides then know what has been paid and what remains. Count recurring fees separately: domain and hosting renew periodically and are best registered under the business owner's own account.
Costs people remember after launch
A finished website does not bring enquiries by itself. You have to send people to it through ads, social media or search, and that budget should be planned together with the development quote.
Three more items are often forgotten: maintenance (prices change, forms sometimes break after updates), post-delivery edits (small fixes belong to acceptance, new sections are a new task) and content, if it was not prepared in advance.
How to save money without hurting the result
Start with a smaller scope. A first version with the key pages goes live sooner, and you can add sections once you see what customers actually ask about. Draft the copy yourself or ask an expert inside the company; they know the product better than an outside writer.
Do not cut corners on the mobile version or load speed. Most visitors open links from Telegram and Instagram on a phone, and a slow site loses them before they see your price.
If you need an estimate for your own task, markdev builds websites end to end and sends a written quote with a list of work. It shows what you pay for and what can be removed if the budget is tight. Describe your task and we will go through the options together.
FAQ
How much does it cost to build a website in Tashkent?
There is no single figure. The total depends on site type, number of unique templates, languages and integrations. The reliable route is a short brief and a written quote listing the work.
Why do landing pages get such different quotes?
A landing page can mean one screen with a form or a page with a calculator, a quiz and a connected CRM. The scope differs, so the price does too.
What does a turnkey website mean?
One team handles every stage: planning, design, development and launch. The total is higher than for a single stage, but there are no gaps in responsibility between contractors.
Which costs are not part of development?
Domain and hosting, maintenance, advertising to bring traffic and content created from scratch are usually paid separately.
