Which pages a business actually needs
The set of pages depends on how you sell. A service company usually needs a home page, a separate page for each service, an about page, reviews and contacts. An online shop needs a catalogue, category pages, product cards, a cart, and a page covering payment and delivery. A clinic or training centre needs pages for each direction, for specialists, and a booking option.
Landing pages for advertising are a category of their own. Someone arriving from a Meta Ads or Google Ads campaign should not hunt through a menu: the page must answer the promise made in the ad.
- Home page: navigation and first impression
- Service or category page: the main source of leads
- Product card: where the buying decision is made
- Ad landing page: one offer, one action
- Contacts: address, map, messengers, opening hours
- Articles: traffic from search
Define the job of each page before the design
Every page needs one primary goal. A service page leads to an enquiry, a product card to an order, an article to a subscription or a service page. When five equal buttons compete on one screen, visitors press none of them.
Agree on metrics before work begins: cost per lead, the share of visitors who complete the target action, and search positions for the queries that matter. The goal shapes the structure, the copy, and the way you judge the result later.
Describe the visitor too. Did they come from Instagram, search, a Telegram channel or a recommendation? What do they already know, and what doubt keeps them from contacting you? The answer to that doubt is the content of the page.
The stages of page development
Sound development follows a clear chain in which every step can be checked. Skipping the prototype is a typical false saving: changing a finished design takes longer than discussing a wireframe.
- Structure: list of pages, URLs, links between them, mapping to search queries
- Prototype: block layout of each page without styling
- Copy and materials: headings, descriptions, real photos, reviews
- Design with the mobile version as the priority
- Front-end and back-end work: forms, catalogue, payments, admin panel
- Analytics setup: counters, goals, pixels for ad accounts
- Testing on real phones, then launch
What to consider in the Uzbek market
Most visitors arrive on a phone, often from Instagram or Telegram, and sometimes on a mobile connection with unstable speed, especially outside the capital. Heavy banners, full-screen video and dozens of scripts cost you leads, because the page simply fails to open in time.
Your audience reads in both Russian and Uzbek, so plan the structure for two language versions from the start instead of bolting on a second one later. The familiar pattern is fast contact: a Telegram button, a phone call, a form that instantly notifies a manager, payment through Click or Payme.
Trust matters as well. Buyers compare you with listings on OLX and Uzum, where reviews and clear terms are visible. Your page should show an address, real photographs, and delivery and payment conditions.
What shapes the price
A price “per page” cannot be compared fairly: duplicating a ready template and designing a unique page from scratch are different jobs. The cost is driven by:
- the number of distinct page types, not the total count
- the level of custom design and animation
- copywriting, photography or sourcing of materials
- integrations: CRM, payment systems, Telegram bot, stock records
- language versions
- basic SEO preparation
- support and changes after launch
Common mistakes
Ask for an estimate broken down by scope and check what it leaves out. That makes it easier to compare a freelancer, a small team and an agency. These are the things that most often spoil the outcome:
- launching without analytics, so you cannot tell whether the site pays back
- identical titles and descriptions across different pages
- a lead form that sends no notification, so enquiries get lost
- an ad landing page that does not match the ad
- testing only on a desktop computer
- nobody responsible for updates after launch
Where to start
List the pages that bring in money and write down, for each one, its goal and the action you want from the visitor. That is already half of a technical brief.

FAQ
How many pages should a website have?
As many as your services and customer queries require. A separate page for each important service or category works better than one overloaded home page.
Do I need an Uzbek version of the pages?
If your customers use both languages, yes. Plan two versions from the beginning so the structure and URLs do not have to change later.
How is a landing page different from a regular page?
A landing page is built for one campaign or query, with a single offer and a single action and no distracting navigation.
