Is Tilda bad for SEO?
A common belief among business owners in Tashkent and the regions is that a site built on a constructor cannot rank. In practice the platform is rarely the problem. A site gets assembled quickly for its looks, published, and nobody opens the settings. Search engines then see the same title everywhere, URLs like page12345.html and pages that were never meant to be public.
Tilda works well for landing pages, service sites, small shops and blogs. Below is the order of checks worth running before launch and after any big change.
Page-level Tilda SEO settings
Every page has its own search block in the settings. Fill it in for each page, not only the homepage. If it stays empty, the search engine writes the snippet itself, and the result is usually weak.
- Title: unique per page, with the main query and the city if you serve a local market.
- Description: one or two sentences on what the visitor will find and why it is useful.
- Page address: short and readable, like /services or /delivery, not a technical string.
- Social preview: the title, text and image that appear when the link is shared in Telegram or Instagram.
- Indexing block: switch it on for thank-you pages, tests and duplicates.
Headings and real text
A large font is not a heading. Tilda blocks let you choose the heading level, so use it: one H1 per page naming the service or topic, then H2 and H3 for sections. A frequent mistake is making the first promotional slogan the H1 while the actual service name sits in plain text.
Do not put important copy inside images. Prices, terms and benefit lists drawn as pictures are not read reliably by search engines. Keep them in text blocks and fill in image descriptions where the field exists.
Structure matters too. If every service lives on one long page, you have a single page competing for every query. Separate services deserve separate pages with their own titles and content.
Domain, sitemap and indexing
Tilda generates a sitemap and robots.txt on its own, but check the outcome: important pages open, drafts and test pages closed. Connect your own domain, turn on HTTPS and make sure the site resolves at one main address, with the www and non-www versions redirecting to it.
Then verify the site in Google Search Console and Yandex Webmaster and submit the sitemap. In Uzbekistan some customers search in Google and some in Yandex, so it is sensible to cover both.
If you change a page address, set up a redirect from the old one to the new one in the site settings. Otherwise links that are already in search results or in other people's posts will lead to an error.
Speed and mobile layout
Most visitors in Uzbekistan arrive on phones, often from Instagram or Telegram, and mobile connections are not always fast. Heavy photos straight from a camera, video on the first screen and piles of animation slow a page the most. Upload images at the size they are shown, use lazy loading if it is available, drop unnecessary third-party widgets and recheck with PageSpeed Insights after each change.
Blocks built in Zero Block are adjusted separately for each screen width. Open every page on a phone: do elements overlap, is the text readable, do the buttons and the lead form work?
Analytics and the limits of a builder
In the site settings you can connect Yandex Metrica, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Set up goals for form submissions, taps on the phone number and clicks to your Telegram. That shows which pages and queries bring enquiries, not just visits.
For small and mid-sized sites Tilda is usually enough. A large catalog with filters, hundreds of pages or custom logic is a different story, and you should decide early whether to stay or migrate. A builder also does not create demand-based page structure, copy, reviews or map listings. That work sits on top of the settings.

FAQ
Can a Tilda site rank in Google and Yandex?
Yes. The platform provides fields for titles, descriptions and URLs, a sitemap and analytics connections. Results depend on site structure, copy quality and external signals, as on any platform.
What should I set up first on Tilda?
A unique title and description, a readable URL and one H1 on every page. Then your own domain with HTTPS, blocking service pages from indexing, and analytics.
Do I need redirects when I change a page URL?
Yes. Without a redirect the old address returns an error and you lose visitors who arrive from search results or old links.
When does Tilda stop being enough?
When the site grows into a large filtered catalog, many pages or complex logic. For a landing page, a service site or a small shop it is usually sufficient.
