Why promoting a Tilda site is its own task
Tilda is a block-based builder. It gives you speed and a tidy look, but the SEO foundation is still your job: the builder will not write headlines, draft copy or choose search queries. That is why you see good-looking sites in Tashkent that never appear in search. The page was built as a picture, not as a document a search engine can understand.
Start with the goal, not with ads. What counts as a result: a form request, a phone call, a Telegram message, a payment? The answer decides which pages you need and what traffic to send to them. Without it, promotion turns into spending based on gut feeling.
Tilda settings to check first
Most visibility problems sit in the basics. Go through this list for every important page.
- A unique title and description on each page: service name, city, no duplicates between pages.
- One H1 per page and meaningful H2–H3 subheadings. In Tilda the tags are set in the text block settings, and they are easy to forget.
- Readable Latin page URLs such as /ac-installation instead of a string of digits.
- Your own domain with SSL connected, and the technical Tilda address not running in parallel.
- Alt text on key images.
- A checked sitemap and robots.txt, with the site added to Google Search Console and Yandex Webmaster.
- Indexing unblocked, since a ban set during development is often left in place.
Site structure and copy built around local searches
One page, one meaning. If someone searches for air conditioner installation in Tashkent and lands on a general story about your company, they leave. It is better to have a separate page for each service, a questions-and-answers block, and contacts with an address, map and working hours. Collect queries from search suggestions and from the way customers write to you in Telegram and Instagram.
Think about language. Some of your audience searches in Russian, some in Uzbek. If you need both, build them as separate pages with their own URLs and metadata rather than a language switcher that search engines may not see.
A word on Zero Block. When a page's whole text is laid out as free-floating elements, the structure becomes loose and the mobile layout often breaks. For key pages, it is safer to build the main text from standard text blocks and keep Zero Block for design touches.
Speed and the mobile version
Most visitors come from smartphones, sometimes on mobile internet that can be unstable outside the capital. Heavy photos, video on the first screen, too much animation and third-party widgets slow the site down, and people leave before reading your offer.
Compress images before uploading, skip the video background on the first screen, remove extra scripts and test the page in PageSpeed Insights. Then open the site on an ordinary phone: the call button, the form and the Telegram link should be reachable at once.
Where the traffic comes from
Search takes time, so at the start channels are usually combined. A Google Maps listing matters for local businesses. Google Ads and Meta Ads can send people to separate landing pages, and this is where Tilda is strong: variants are quick to build and test.
Use your own channels too: the link in your Instagram profile, a pinned message in your Telegram channel, a QR code on packaging or at the point of sale. Add UTM tags to every link so you can see where each request came from.
If you need online payment through Click or Payme, find out in advance how it connects on your plan and in your scenario. Sometimes it is a payment link or a bot rather than a built-in cart.
Analytics: how to tell the promotion is working
Connect Yandex Metrica and Google Analytics 4, and set up goals: form submission, phone tap, jump to Telegram. Search positions are a useful signal but not the only one. What matters more is how many requests arrived and which source produced them.
Once a month, check which pages bring enquiries, from which channels and what a single request costs. Without that data you cannot tell whether the site pays off or the budget is just being spent.
When Tilda is no longer enough
A catalog of hundreds of products, links to a CRM and warehouse, a personal account area, unusual order flows: this is where the builder hits its limits. It does not mean rewriting everything. Often it is enough to strengthen the current site, and sometimes moving to custom development is the sensible step.

FAQ
Can a Tilda site rank in Google and Yandex?
Yes. The builder lets you set titles, descriptions and page URLs and connect a sitemap. Results depend on structure, copy, speed and links, not on the builder itself.
What matters more for a Tilda site, SEO or ads?
It depends on your goal and timeline. Ads bring enquiries faster, while SEO builds up over time. For most small companies it makes sense to start with ads on dedicated pages and prepare the SEO base in parallel.
Why does my Tilda site open slowly on a phone?
Usually because of heavy images, video on the first screen, lots of animation or third-party widgets. Compressing photos and removing extras often fixes it.
When should I move away from Tilda?
When the site runs into a large catalog, complex integrations or non-standard logic. If your needs are simple, improving the existing site is usually the better value.
